KOS is a gastropub located in the Driftless Region in Westby, Wisconsin. A gastropub is a hybrid of a restaurant and bar or pub that serves high quality food and alcoholic drinks. The term was coined in the 1990’s although similar brewhouses existed in the 1980’s. We pride ourselves on serving quality food and beverages in a relaxing atmosphere. Our menu rotates throughout the year and our team of food-loving chefs are always experimenting to create the next level of wholesome and satisfying menu items. We strive to incorporate organic ingredients when able as well as make our creations in-house to the extent of which we can sustain production. Our amazing desserts, soups and sauces are always house-made. Our desserts and soups sell out quickly.
Our building is believed to be built in the 1930’s and underwent a renovation in 2020. The exterior of the building was taken down to the original brick and an ADA compliant ramp was added to make it more accessible.
Step inside our intimate brick building and you’ll enter our lounge with a fully stocked bar, high top table seating and a view into the small, open kitchen.
We are an intimate pub with limited seating. Because of this we do our best to accommodate specific table requests but cannot guarantee it. Rest assured, no matter the table, knowing you are with good company and appreciate good food and drink, you’ll enjoy your time with us.
